 Clear PETG Sheets- 47 Series

Optically Clear PETG Film

PETG or (Polyethylene Terephthalate Glycol) is a cost-effective transparent thermoplastic film that has great thermoforming ability, moderate impact resistance, and exceptional clarity. PETG is often compared to polycarbonate, although it does not have the rigidity or impact strength of polycarbonate. PETG is designed to be easily conformable which makes it ideal for applications that require ultimate clarity and transparency versus other performance properties. This material is easy to fabricate and machine which makes it a cost-effective plastic that can be used in a variety of engineering applications or sign applications used in visual merchandising.

Optically Clear Polyester PET film- 48-OC Series

Optically Clear Polyester Film Rolls

(11)

Optically clear polyester film is a general-purpose high clarity transparent polyester film. Clear polyester film is non yellowing and holds consistent color. Main features of clear polyester include chemical resistance, electrical resistance, tear resistance, dimensional stability, and heat resistance of up too 200°F. Typical applications include packaging, printing, die-cutting, electronics, protective overlay, barrier protection, apparel, and other industrial applications.

Optically clear polyester can be supplied with adhesive backing. Available in sheets, slit to width rolls, or ...

Polycarbonate Film- Clear & Velvet Matte- CS Hyde Co.

Polycarbonate Film- Clear & Velvet Matte

(20)

CS Hyde Company supplies three types of high performance polycarbonate film; Clear Polycarbonate-type GG (gloss/gloss surface), Clear Hard Coated Polycarbonate- Type HC, and Translucent Hazy Polycarbonate- type VM (Velvet/Matte surface). Polycarbonate films have exceptional impact strength, weatherability and thermoformability. Our clear polycarbonate film is idea for optical clarity applications that also require high impact strength properties. Velvet/Matte polycarbonate is also available that is translucent in color and can be used for privacy applications while maintaining high impact strength. Common plastics associated with polycarbonate include Acrylic, Mylar®, Polyester, and PETG. In comparison, Polycarbonate has a ...

FEP Optically Clear Tape/FEP & PFA Optically Clear Film made with Teflon® fluoropolymers

FEP & PFA Optically Clear Film made with Teflon™ fluoropolymers

(36)

DuPont® Teflon™ FEP (Type A) & PFA (Type LP) are optically clear Teflon™ films that benefit from the ability to be thermoformed, heat-sealed, plastic-welded or bonded. PFA film is very similar to FEP Film, except it has a higher melting point of (302C to 310C vs. FEP’s melt range of 260C to 280C). PFA Film is recommended over FEP Film for applications that require superior creep resistance at high temperatures, low-temperature toughness, and a higher flame resistance.  Teflon™ PTFE fluoropolymers are the most inert of all plastics and complie with USFDA regulations for food contact applications. FEP and PFA films possess superior anti-stick, low friction properties, ...

Tefzel ETFE Optically Clear Film (General Purpose Grade)- CS Hyde Co.

Tefzel® (ETFE) Optically Clear Film (General Purpose Grade)

(7)
Tefzel® Optically Clear Film is an extremely durable, thin polymeric film closely related to PTFE fluorocarbon resin. Of all the PTFE fluoropolymer family, Tefzel® (ETFE) is the most tough/ durable. Flexible and nearly 100 percent transparent, Tefzel® Optically Clear Film has excellent mechanical strength and reliability against cracking and abrasion. In outdoor applications, Tefzel® shows very little degradation over a long period of time despite constant UV radiation exposure, making it a suitable long term substitute for glass. Tefzel® Optically Clear Film features easy processibility and high-energy radiation resistance.

Film types are:Type LZ--General-purpose film, Type CLZ--Treated one-side for ...
