Medical Grade solid silicone sheet rubber is used primarily in health care applications. The base silicone polymer has been tested to meet USP Class VI. This premium material is low volatile, peroxide free, platinum cured and does not discolor over time. The ingredients used to manufacture this material also meet CFR 177.2600 which certifies to the FDA regulation for materials intended for repeated use in contact with food. Medical Grade solid silicone rubber is fungus resistant and UV and ozone resistant as well.
Medical Grade solid silicone sheeting also meets the following specifications: USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, UL 94HB flammability rating and ASTM D200.
