Fiberglass Reinforced silicone sponge is used in applications requiring additional dimensional stability and higher tensile strength. Silicone has superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, high tensile strength, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, easy fabrication. Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone Sponge has excellent UV and ozone resistance. It is odorless, tasteless, non-toxic. It offers high compressibility with a low compression set. Standard color is red. Common Applications: Fiberglass reinforced silicone sponge is an excellent material for gasketing applications. Fiberglass gives dimensional stability, which helps in cutting close tolerance parts. Fiberglass Reinforced silicone sponge can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies. It can also be used for gaskets, seals, belting, air filters, and diaphragms, thermal shielding; can be used in furnace or boiler rooms, electrical boxes, high heat, high intensity lighting and after burners. Fiberglass Reinforced silicone sponge meets AMS 3195
