DuPont™ Kapton® Type FN Film- Kapton® film laminated with FEP film on one or both sides.
Kapton® FN film is recommended for applications that require a heat-bondable film, or moisture and chemical resistance beyond the capabilities of general purpose Kapton® film. Kapton does not melt or burn and has excellent chemical resistance; there are no know organic solvents for the film.
Applications include: Tubing, heater circuits, heat-sealable bags, automotive diaphragms and manifolds as well as electrical insulation.
Kapton® FN film meets ASTM D-5213 (type 2, item A) requirements, & UL-94 Flammability rating: V-0.
