Kapton Tape with Acrylic Adhesive- are pressure sensitive tapes using Kapton® polyimide film coated with "high-tack" acrylic adhesive. The polyimide film provides excellent electrical insulation, abrasion resistance and high dielectric strength. 18-1A products are normally supplied without liner - a release coat is used to prevent blocking.

APPLICATION INFORMATION
These tapes are used primarily in electrical applications such as gold finger masking, insulation in transformers, flat cables and connectors and high temperature harness wrapping.
