TPX resin is FDA compliant, and has the lowest specific gravity of any known thermoplastic. It is thermoformable at temps of 248°F to 428°F depending on thickness, and thicker film should be preheated before forming.
Used in wide variety of applications including speaker cones, gas separating membranes, release films, and carrier films for ceramic slurry. TPX° DX845 resin.
