UHMW Polyethylene is an ideal solution to reduce friction on all types of surfaces. UHMW provides a non-stick low friction surface similar to PTFE but with much higher puncture and abrasion resistance. UHMW Tape is also available with pre-applied acrylic or rubber adhesive, eliminating mechanical fastening and providing quick and easy installation.




UHMW Polyethylene wear strip applications include:
- Repairing sticking drawer slides
- Enhancing sliding movement in door jams.   
- Preventing Boxes or Parts from sticking on- rails, chutes, or packaging converyors
- Eliminating squeak and rattle in tight fit applications.
- Perfect for high friction areas

CS Hyde supplies UHMW Wear Strips with or without adhesive in custom widths or lengths. We also supply UHMW Polyethylene in sheets, rolls, or die cut parts.
