Optically clear polyester tape is composed of (48-OC) optically clear polyester film backed with 3M® 200MP Acrylic PSA Adhesive. Optically clear polyester film features great chemical resistance, electrical resistance, tear resistance, dimensional stability, and heat resistance of up to 200°F. 3M™ 200MP adhesive is known for its clarity, excellent temperature resistance, shear strength, and its harsh environment resistance to solvents, cleaning solutions, and disinfectants. Combining the two performance materials creates an optically clear polyester tape with a durable adhesive system.

 

OpticallOpticallt Clear Polyester Tape- CS Hyde Coy Clear Polyester Tape Highlights:

  • Optically clear polyester film and adhesive both are non-yellowing and hold consistent color.  The adhesive color is transparent.
  • 200MP adhesive has some initial repositionability bonding to plastic parts (not metal). Which is ideal for graphic overlay applications that need to be lifted and repositioned for perfect alignment.  
  • Adhesive temperature operating range:
    • Short Term (minutes/hours)- 400°F (204°C)
    • Long Term (days/weeks)- 300°F (149°C)

  • Clear Overlay tape for graphics or label protection
  • Clear cable or wire harness wrapping tape for wire identification
