CS Hyde’s Metalized Polyester Film tape is 0.9 mil thick with a vibrant, mirror-like finish. It is available in Six Bright Colors: Silver, Black, Gold, Red, Green, Blue. Cut rolls are 1" wide x 72 yards long. Custom widths are our specialty.

This tape has an aggressive, long lasting acrylic adhesive that maintains excellent solvent resistance and long-term aging properties. Metalized Polyester tape will not discolor over time and is UV resistant. It is flexible and dimensionally stable to 302F. It also features high reflectivity of both light and heat radiation, excellent heat resistance and easy unwind characteristics.

Metalized Polyester can be used for splicing in high temperature applications and for a sensing tape for automated equipment used in sorting and counting. It can also be used in photo sensing applications to detect splices to facilitate roll change-over. Test Sampling Recommended.

Use for reflective shielding, color coding and identification, plastic coated wallpaper with embossed surfaces, leaders for photo development. Metalized Polyester is also used for decorative trim, graphic and industrial art displays, for toys, appliances, and watercrafts. Can be used as an edging tape for photo preservation, chart presentation and cover art.
