Flame retardant Fiberglass reinforced silicone sponge is an excellent material for gasketing applications. The fiberglass gives it dimensional stability, which also helps in cutting close tolerance parts. Silicone sponge can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies. It can also be used for gaskets, seals, air filters, diaphragms, thermal shielding, cushioning for aviation, automotive and locomotive industries as well as flame-retardant applications. This silicone sponge can also be used in furnace or boiler rooms, electrical boxes, high heat, high intensity lighting and after burners.
