Flame retardant medium grade silicone sponge rubber consiting of a closed-cell sponge ideal for a variety of gasketing applications. This material is flexible and compressible and designed for use in extreme temperature ranges, with excellent weatherability, compression set resistance, electrical strength and non-stick properties. 

Silicone sponge can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies. It can also be used for gaskets, seals, air filters, diaphragms, thermal shielding, cushioning for aviation, automotive and locomotive industries as well as flame-retardant applications. This silicone sponge can also be used in furnace or boiler rooms, electrical boxes, high heat, high intensity lighting and after burners.

  •  Meets UL Flammability Classification (94 HBF Rating) 
    • UL 94 V-0 rated sponge also available upon request. 
  • Ul 157- Recognized weather seal gasket
  • Capable of meeting AMS 3195 Closed- Cell Spec. 
  • Capable of meeting Mil-R-6130 Type II Grade A,B, and C/ASTM D6576 Type 2, Grade A, B, And C 
  • DMS1980 Grade 2 
  • Meets FDA CFR 177.2600
