TPX® (Polymethylpentene, or PMP) has remarkable combination of transparency and resistance to heat/chemicals. Some of its distinguishing characteristics include its low moisture absorption, exceptional electrical and acoustical properties, good chemical resistance, high heat resistance, and transparency.

3 mil. and 5 mil. TPX® has a gloss/matte surface
10 mil. TPX® Film has a  Gloss (polish)/matte surface  (*limited availability matte/matte) specify when ordering to confirm availability
20 mil. TPX® has a matte/matte surface

TPX resin is FDA compliant, and has the lowest specific gravity of any known thermoplastic. It is thermoformable at temps of 248°F to 428°F depending on thickness, and thicker film should be preheated before forming.

Used in wide variety of applications including speaker cones, gas separating membranes, release films, and carrier films for ceramic slurry. TPX° DX845 resin.
