ESD polyimide tape consists of  "polyimide film" and silicone adhesive that has been designed for high temperature applications. ESD tape has excellent electrostatic discharge properties. The ESD additive reduces the electrostatic discharge that occurs upon tape removal.  18-1ESD can safely and cleanly be removed from printed circuit boards.  The proprietary adhesive system provides high electrostatic dissipation without sacrificing adhesive strength at extreme temperatures.

APPLICATION INFORMATION 
The primary uses for this product are gold finger protection during wave solder applications that require reduced electrostatic discharge upon tape removal.
