Teflon™ PTFE coated fabrics are madeup of woven substrates of fiberglass, or Kevlar® fabric and dispersion coated or impregnated with PTFE. All PTFE coated fabrics have excellent release properties, high temperature, chemical, moisture & tear resistance, dimensional & mechanical stability, low coefficient of friction and superior dielectric properties.
Types of PTFE Coated Fiberglass Fabrics:
Semi Porous or Porous PTFE coated fiberglass fabrics are composed of semi porous or porous woven fiberglass fabrics coated with PTFE.
Controlled Porosity PTFE Fiberglass fabric or (CPM) Controlled Porosity Membrane is a white porous composite material consisting of fiberglass and PTFE impregnation. Ideal for industrial and architectural applications requiring air flow. *CPM is also the most flexible PTFE coated fiberglass out of all the types.PTFE Laminate fabrics (TEF-LAM) are fiberglass woven substrates that are laminated with PTFE coating.
Kevlar® Aramid Fabrics are available with or with out PTFE Coating. Silicone Coated Fiberglass Fabrics are composed of woven fiberglass fibers coated with silicone rubber.
