    Commercial grade solid silicone rubber sheet is the most commonly used type of silicone rubber.  Commercial grade solid silicone sheeting is designed to be used in applications where physical properties are not critical but extreme temperature resistance is still needed.

  • FDA Approved Solid Silicone Sheet

    FDA Approved Solid Silicone Rubber has superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication. It also possesses excellent UV and ozone resistance. This material is low volatile, peroxide free and does not discolor over time. Silicone is odorless, tasteless, chemically inert and non-toxic. It offers all FDA approved ingredients, low compression set and fungus resistance.

    Silicone rubber can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies, LCD displays, sensors for lasers and assemblies, gaskets, automotive seals and hoses, shaft sealing rings, spark plug caps, vibration and sound damping, industrial rollers, press pads, thermal shielding, food and cosmetic services, heat sealing and packaging and grommets.

  • Solid Silicone (Translucent)

    Translucent solid silicone sheet rubber can be used in a wide variety of applications.  Translucent silicone rubber is low volatile, peroxide free and does not discolor over time.  Silicone exhibits a wish list of characteristics including superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication.  It also possesses excellent UV and ozone resistance.  Translucent silicone sheeting is odorless, tastless, chemically inert and non-toxic.  It offers all FDA approved ingredients, low compression set and fungus resistance.

    Translucent Grade solid silicone sheeting meets 21 CFR 177.2600 for repeated use in contact with food.  Color is translucent.

     

  • Solid Silicone (Medical Grade)

    Medical Grade solid silicone sheet rubber is used primarily in health care applications.  The base silicone polymer has been tested to meet USP Class VI.  This premium material is low volatile, peroxide free, platinum cured and does not discolor over time.  The ingredients used to manufacture this material also meet CFR 177.2600 which certifies to the FDA regulation for materials intended for repeated use in contact with food.  Medical Grade solid silicone rubber is fungus resistant and UV and ozone resistant as well.

    Medical Grade solid silicone sheeting also meets the following specifications: USP Class VI, FDA 21 CFR 177.2600, UL 94HB flammability rating and ASTM D200.

  • Solid Silicone (Specification Grade)

    Specification Grade solid silicone sheet rubber sheet is for demading applications that require higher physical properties and a lower compression set.  This material is resistant to extreme low and high temperatures and is proven to be an excellent gasket material in harsh environments.  Specification Grade solid silicone rubber is non-toxic, chemically inert and FDA compliant.  It is also UV and ozone resistant and fungus resistant.

    Specification Grade solid silicone rubber also meets the following specifications ZZR-765 CL2A & 2B GR50, AMS 3302 and ASTM D200.

     

  • Solid Silicone Fiberglass Reinforced

    Fiberglass Reinforced Solid Silicone Rubber has superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication. It also possesses excellent UV and ozone resistance.
    Silicone is odorless, tasteless, chemically inert and non-toxic. It offers low compression set and fungus resistance.

    Common Applications: Fiberglass reinforced press pad material is typically used for flexible circuitry laminations. This process requires a resilient, non-porous sheet material suitable for operating temperatures from -100 to 550F. It can also be used for gaskets, diaphragms, and belting.

    Durometer Shore "A" Hardness. Thickness from 1/32" to 1/2". Many Grades available. Products meet many commercial, Mil-Spec, Aircraft, FDA, UL, Flame Retardant Standards. Silicone materials are Solid, Coated Fiberglass, Textured with Fabric Finish, Reinforced with Fiberglass (adds tensile strength).

    Flame Retardant solid silicone rubber sheet is designed to be used in applications requiring higher physical properties.  It is most used in applications where self-extinguishing and resistance to flammability characteristics are needed. Flame retardant silicone rubbers are a compatible material to protect sensitive electronic components from flame damage. Flame Retardant silicone rubber meets specifications: BSS7230, UL94-VO and FAR25.853.

    Like other silicone rubber products, flame retardant silicone possesses high temperature resistance, chemical resistance, ozone and UV resistance and easy fabrication.  This material is also non-toxic and fungus resistant. 

    Silicone rubber sheeting is commonly used in gasketing, automotive and aviation cushioning, insulating, packaging, thermal shielding, heat sealing, vibration and sound dampening and sealing industries.

    Fluorosilicone silicone rubber sheeting is designed to be used in applications where extreme temperatures exist.  Fluorosilicone silicone exhibits a wish list of characteristics including superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication.

  • Solid Silicone Electrically Conductive

    Electrically Conductive Grade Silicone Rubber Sheeting is designed for many different applications. It is black; carbon filled silicone sheeting that acts as a low amperage conductor and provides protection against electrostatic discharge. Silicone rubber exhibits a wish list of characteristics including superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication. It has excellent UV and ozone resistance. Silicone is odorless, tasteless, chemically inert and non-toxic. It offers low compression set and fungus resistance.  

    Common Applications: ECD silicone rubber can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies. It is also used for gaskets, heat sealing and packaging, RFI/EMI Shielding.

  • Solid Silicone (High Temperature)

    High temperature solid silicone rubber is used in applications that a require an extremely high (+500F) temperature range for an extended period of time.  This particular products offers temperature resistance to 600F.  This material is resistant to extrememe high and low temperatures and has proven to be an excellent gasket material.

    High temperature solid silicone rubber is chemical, ozone and UV resistant.  This material offers low compression set, long-term resilency and easy fabrication.

    High temperature silicone rubber is used in gasketing, thermal and heat sheilding, insulating, packaging and many more applications.

    If you only need extended temperature resistance for short periods of time, please call about our EPC (extra-post platinum cured) silicone rubber.  It has a service life of 550F.

  • Solid Silicone (High Strength)/Overhead Press

    This High Strength solid silicone rubber sheeting is designed to be used in applications requiring high strength physical properties.  This premium material has a high tensile strength as well as excellent tear resistance.  In addition to these characteristics, the high strength silicone sheeting is also FDA approved and meets CFR 177.2600 for repeated food contact.  It is also UV and ozone resistant.

    The High Strength solid silicone rubber sheeting also meets specifications ZZR-765 CL3B GR50, AMS 3347 and ASTM D200.

  • Solid Silicone (Thermally Conductive)

    Thermally conductive solid silicone is an unsupported silicone rubber. This material offers thermal conductivity along with electrical isolation for heat transfer between PC boards and heat sinks. Thermally conductive solid silicone is a firm interface material used for applications requiring a heat protectant. These products are designed to remove the heat generated by an electronic device to the ambient environment in order to ensure the reliable operation of computers, communication equipment or similar electronic hardware. It can also be used for filling air gaps under high load force between PC boards and heat sinks.

    Thermally conductive solid silicone is available in a light blue color and is formulated to provide clean release from most surfaces.

  • Silicone Foam

    Commercial Grade silicone foam is a light density, flexible material with a smooth skin on both sides.  Silicone foam is flame-retardant and meets UL 94 VO rating.  This material can withstand a 2100°F flame for more than l0 minutes without burning through in thicknesses down to 3/8".   Silicone foam is self-extinguishing and generates very little white smoke.  Nominal density is 12 lbs./cu. ft.  Silicone foam is non-crrosive for use with metals and in hostile environment and maintains compression set.  Color is white.

    Flame retardant medium grade silicone sponge rubber consiting of a closed-cell sponge ideal for a variety of gasketing applications. Fiberglass Reinforced Silicone Sponge has excellent UV and ozone resistance. It is odorless, tasteless, non-toxic. It offers high compressibility with a low compression set.  Standard color is red. 

    Common Applications: Fiberglass reinforced silicone sponge is an excellent material for gasketing applications. Fiberglass gives dimensional stability, which helps in cutting close tolerance parts. Fiberglass Reinforced silicone sponge can be used for insulating and cushioning electronic assemblies.   • Low Compression Set Silicone Sponge Sheet

    Low compression set silicone is a soft, compressible, closed cell silicone sponge excellent for gasketing applications. It boasts superb chemical resistance, high temperature performance, good thermal and electrical resistance, long-term resiliency, and easy fabrication.

    Common applications include gaskets, seals, press pads, thermal insulation, thermal shielding, heat transfer, silk screening, print presses, and vibration mounts.

  • Silicone Sponge (Thermally COND / Low COMP)

    Thermally Conductive Silicone Sponge 72-TCD series is a thermally conductive closed cell silicone sponge rubber. This material offers thermal conductivity along with electrical isolation. It has excellent conformability to irregular surfaces and a clean release from most materials. Available in multiple thicknesses to fill various air gap heights. Its cellular structure provides extremely compliant gap filler.
    This material is recommended to fill the needs of an unsupported thermal transfer material in applications requiring clean release, enhanced thermal performance by filling air gaps, electrical isolation and vibration cushioning.  Common Applications: Gasketing and cushioning applications requiring critical thermal transfer and sealing.
